Computers Made Easy, an award winning Fort Worth based technology training center, is proud to announce the
grand opening of the North Texas Ability Center. We offer software and equipment assessments (and demos)
for all abilities and ages with particular attention to persons with a disability including low vision and blind consumers.
We have the most current devices and software, including Computer (Screen) Magnification and Reader programs,
Closed Circuit TVs (CCTVs) used for magnifying printed material in numerous desktop and handheld models as well
as software and devices that will read printed material and books (OCR or Optical Character Reader).
Later this year, we will be adding refreshable Braille displays and notetakers.
We are conveniently located 30 miles southwest of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, in southwest
Fort Worth (near TCU) and offer both daytime, evening and weekend appointments!
We are an approved Texas Division for Rehabilitative Services (DARS) and Division for Blind Services (DBS)
Evaluation AND Training Facility, offering training in keyboarding, computer skills, email, Microsoft Office,
screen magnification and screen reader programs.
We'll be updating this website (www.texasabilitycenter.org) with information regarding how to schedule
clients as well as lodging, travel and transportation alternatives for our out-of-town clients.

The North Texas Ability Center is located approximately 1 mile west of the southern end of University Drive
(Blue Bonnet Circle). University Drive runs north and south and is an exit off of IH-30, west of downtown Fort Worth.
For our out of town customers, there are hotels and restaurants located on University Dr., between IH-30 and the
Trinity River, within 3 miles of our facility.
